Was it to a specific thread or post? You might want to avoid sweeping statements. Almost everyone here has been in the COG or Family at some point. I was for 24 years and only left recently.
I don't agree with everything on this site but don't feel I am in a position to call peoples personal accounts "lies". Just because someone voices something "negative", perhaps even something you never heard of, doesn't automatically make it untrue. Ex-members are not all liars just as current members are not all honest. :-)
I'm not attacking you. I might have posted something similar a few years ago. I have done A LOT of research on actual old letters (if you are still "in", things that are no longer in your library...or shouldn't be :-) ) and, while I can't vouch for every account posted on these (and other "ex")boards, I do think that everybody, regardless of status, has the basic right to be heard.
