Be careful what you wish for. One of the Christian pastors quoted in the article Mr. Don posted equates pedophelia to homosexuality and I suspect that is the common view amongst many Christians, especially the fundamentalists. That view is simply preposterous. I also suspect that the punishment that Mr. Don desires for pedophiles, as he describes in this thread, he also desires for homosexuals. I think we all know where that kind of thinking leads to.
I expect you will not get very far in this conversation with Mr. Don, who is obviously not an academic but a dogmatist.
