Those with large families (5+) have a little advantage.
I know of some families where the parents are supported by their children. Some of the the children have secular work after having left "the work" and others continue leaving through busking and other similar means.
The children have developed their own social networks leaving the parents to pretty much any type of fellowship they can muster, or join the youngsters' new life style related or not to TFI.
