I am not a believer in the big ministries and the excess of what they do with what folks send them. I do not like the "prosperity minstries". I do believe it is a mandate of the church to help the poor and those in need. That might not mean just giving money, it could be help in other ways. We have a food pantry in our church which gives food to those in need. I am not for government control, I am for personal responsibility. I don't have a pie in the sky God, but I do believe the blessings I have in my life are a result of God's provision! The less government intrusion in my life the better.
