I stand by the grand canyon comment. you took the leap. Pedophilia and homosexuality are not in the same category. homosexuality is a minority orientation, not unlike being left handed.
An adult raping a child or sexually fondling a child is very damaging whether there are bruises or tears or not. It is not about sexuality. It is about feelings of control of a very out of control person. Same with rape. It occurs, as surely you are aware, whether the adult is male to little boy or male to little girl; or female to little boy or to little girl.
I wouldn't refer to an offender, adult to child, as a "homosexual", I'd refer to them as a pedophile. I wouldn't refer to a man who rapes a woman as being a "heterosexual", I'd call him a rapist.
As far as how consenting adults have sex with each other, certainly there are hetero's that engage in anal sex. It's risky to any adult engaging in it. But it is not my business what consenting adults do with each other.
