This is not an academic board though sources have been linked or discussed when it comes to physicians and professionals who have decided, in the seventies, that homosexual orientation is a minority but not an abberant orientation.
The reason I don't go in search for links to the many sites and articles out there regarding my viewpoint, is because I do not care to play dualling web references. I am certain you are aware that there are as many pro-homosexual orientation sites out there as there are anti. Clearly, there is a reason that same sex marriage is becoming a legal right in more States and more places in the world in a progressive manner. Also, there is a reason that the U.S. military is repealing "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" and is allowing same sex people to serve without hiding their orientation. BRAVO! Bout time!!
It does not threaten society's moral fabric because we are not in danger of underpopulating the world or in danger of becoming a rapacious society because a gender preference or orientation is acknowledged.
