good read...

i stumbled on an amzing book, a novel by lauren groff, "arcadia". it is written from the point of view of a person born and raised in a commune. not religious, but sort of 60's magical thinking etc. it traces his journey thru childhood, adolesence, and adulthhood. somewhat modeled on "the farm" (steven gaskins and the "onieda community" (very loosely there), but it is a fascinating exploration, and her writing in almost ridiculously good. food for thought in imagining the inner journey sg's face... in, out, and beyond. if anyone read it, i'd love to hear your impressions.
