I was wondering how long ago it was that you were able to leave, and what was the church that your grandmother was in? How did u wind up staying in when your mother left..
I can certainly understand that the things you experienced as a teen and it sounds like as a child, growing up, would make you very sensitive to that teen you saw in the mall.
What kind of help have you been able to get since you left this? I am very glad that you got away from all that. Have you been in touch with your mother since leaving, and are you shunned by your other relatives as a result of leaving that abusive church?
