Totally agree the kids are much Much safer in school than in that house!!!!! and yes, you are correct the "owner's" pay more in property taxes due to the homestead exemption not applied. But the owner's are not making a profit on the rental so technically they are not paying into the system like the rest of us. My biggest gripe is that they decieve people who give them donations because those people think they are going to a good cause, NOT to their living expenses. And just to clarify, this information has come directly from them when they would come over to "eat and watch movies here" and tell me all this...... I just never caught on to the whole picture until I started researching. then everything they said all made sense. She calls it a "business" and says how it is a lot of work to keep it running. She used the terms: outreach, provisioning, fundraisers. She would tell me how one lady gave them all her tithe for the month because the "lord told her to" so I am not just making this stuff up. They are definately part of "the family international" living the life many people who have lost real jobs would love to have, but are too honest not to lie ans steal!
