I haven't heard anyone bring up Leo Kottke's name in ages. One of the best finger-style guitar players ever!
By the way, almost every year the last few years I've been making trips over to Europe and driving from country to country, and Germany is always on the way to everything else I'm trying to get to. Last summer, I passed by Bamberg going between Leipzig and Munchen. I didn't stop to look around, but Bamberg's been on my list of places to visit for some time now. Every time I am in Germany I say the same thing: Germany is severely underrated as a tourist destination. I wish I could spend a over there, exploring, driving around. And you can always count on things working in Germany, on proper services.
