CB, I love your frankness on this one & in a good many other subjects...I really aprreciate it...& it seems I am again with you on your "train".....of thoughts...well, let's go partisan...isn't that also a much acclaimed (by Berg) "tactic" TF had in "claiming" more fields for...the gospel etc. meaning, we actually have that a bit in us...it's a bit our nature...unless people after TF became total "system" (funny a certain Dr.Talwar used that term recently in an interview with the Times of India...and I don't suspect him to even know "bergish" lit and lingo) addicts/adherencers (if there is such a word, pardon me)...it's a bit different to go partisan on the boards, "shooting" against your "opponents" under multiple handles e.g., which is usually noticed by the coordinators...

Well, as soon as you become a bit "partisan" regarding the rulers, then you could wind up in trouble...while I lived in Italy, I saw almost daily the news about the victims in Mafia-shoot-outs.The police & army-officers who fought the Mafia were consequently killed, sooner or later...irregardless
of the security-steps they had taken...probably because there were always enough moles in higher ranks...when a bold journalists tried to investigate "a bit" too much the involvement of politics in mafia-businesses, he was shot...I guess all that continued since I left.I bet it's very similar in Mexico, Bulgaria & a good many other countries (I doubt, that there are many "good" countries left)...meaning, to talk, to know, can be dangerous for your earthly life

For me finances & politics are closely linked with the ruling powers and I believe they are not very christian at all (just Matthew 4, if people here could have doubts in this regard...even if any readers doubt the authority of the Bible, it remains the authority for those, who claim to have christian standards & likewise "judge" other people's behaviour exactly by that standard)...so sooner or later...I uphold...you wind up with one conspiracy theory or other...simply because some "brave" people claim to be in the know...insider-knowledge...whether true or not we can hardly verify before something is about to happen, but when it happened, a crash or so, then it's a bit too late for one or the other thing in life.

On the other hand one doesn't have to have a master degree in economics to know something went haywire long ago.As much as I really don't like Berg about most things - meanwhile - I must say he was "brillant" in making complicated things "simple" and although I have't read Rich man Poor man in many decades, & won't do it, I believe he had a point...it started somewhere some time...original sin ahem...with some people exploiting, cheating others & as I have been cheated several times in life by non-Tfers, I can say how bitter & sour it makes you...sooner or later you have wars either for more riches or revenge & that spiral goes on...cheating means also to remove the gold-standard...something Berg might have even read elsewhere...cause there are many books on the book-market...non-TF-related...who expound on that fact.

Since riches are pretty much an addiction, those who are rich - I always wonder about any family in any news in any country, how they became so "filthy" rich & remained so - very much "like" to remain rich and obviously resist any drive, be it politically or whatever, to give parts of their
riches to raise the social standards...sure, there are many rich people, who donated of their billions a good sum...probably to pacify their consciousness...the majority of them probably backs the conservatives...about in any country...with some exceptions to confirm the rule.By the way, when that "soap-box-opera" was still on here at exfam...I was really shocked/astounded, how some came out so much pro-Bush & on the other hand Kelly was having the same "Yale"-background...skull & so on...as did Bush...really great thing to choose...so I couldn't believe, how
heated the debates got...as if it would have made in the final analysis a huge difference...may be??...At least "democratic" Clinton had a balanced - if not surplus? - budget...on the other hand there are websites, who accuse him of the greatest atrocities...who knows...the common man answers with the proverbial "wisdom"...that the fish stinks/rots from the head...

That's where I am may be not with you CB, but I guess you meant it as a joke??!!!!, Bush is not acting very socialistic/democratic...he just socialises the debts...wonderful plan...the big money guys go haywire in their madrush for more profits & the taxpayer in the next "centuries" (?? how long would it take for future generations) has to pay that off through very hard labour...but that's the game they play in any country. It's really rich man against poor man...In Italy I was astonished, how many "bright" people cooperated with the Mafia, be it as engineers or as lawyers e.g....do I think that to be very different in any country?..no, not really...I gave up on the idea to dream of any earthly haven...& a tax-haven I don't need.

To finish here - not elswise - with my "simplistic" thinking, I just like to liberally quote the old & new testament...the borrower is servant to the lender & owe no man except to love him...that forbids me to make any debts...I really hate any overspending in my own life and those that do, I consider unchristian & or plain stupid...who wants to be of own choice slave to some earthly master?
