"The position that seems to be expressed in several ways is that the only protection the coordinators can offer is some sort of google screening. I am no techno wiz, but as I said before, this really does little to assure the family they won't simply complicate things more. (reposts on other sites etc.)"
If that's what you've said, it's the clearest you've said it so far. That was one option we've offered.
"My untechnical proposal was to simply not use full legal or bible names, but rather bible name initials coupled w/ other easily recognizable identifiers which would not google. (I think somewhere in the site policies there is this option when a different set of circumstances, but with a similar concern, bible name initials were an option.)"
That was another option already mentioned to them (as I mentioned several times), and your proposal was not shouted down by anyone nor rejected by us.
So now the folks have not one but two options.
And the pros and cons of each option were discussed.
So honestly, I have no idea how these are still unresolved issues in your mind. At least I think they are unreslolved in your mind because you said we should consider an adjustment (even though that is exactly what we're doing), and that my position was firm (as in non-negotiable), and you failed to get across your points, etc.
So is there a problem still and what is the problem exactly? (you said our mission #3 was being "sidelined" by this affair, etc)
