Both FGAs and SGAs pay for their Family affiliation in lost opportunities, social exclusion, stigma, poor health, emotional and psychological problems--the list of personal consequences goes on and on. The System discriminates equally against SGAs & FGAs when they decide to leave the parasitic cult and try to join or rejoin society. There's a difference between joining and rejoining, btw. SGAs never had a choice, while FGAs did have a choice, albeit a diminshed one due to brainwashing.
The System DOES discriminate against older people when it comes to employment, but it does that regardless of whether the old farts wasted the best years of their lives in a notorious child-abusing cult or not. So FGAs get a double-whammy when it comes to the labor economy, because they're old AND personally tainted by a lifetime in a parasitic cult. The System doesn't cut people much slack, and it's particularly hard on those who flaunt its rules by living off the grid to promote the teachings of a Doomsday pedophile.
Charlie Manson's followers were brainwashed. The worst of them went to prison for their crimes. Others have spent a lifetime with swaztikas carved into the foreheads, permanently marked by the stigma of their youthful association with a psychopath. The world is a brutal, unforgiving place. Get used to it.
If SGAs in the exer community want to cut FGAs some slack, that's up to them as individuals. As a Selfish Systemite, I'm not attending any pity parties for FGAs or SGAs as a group. I do feel sympathy for individual FGAs and SGAs, depending on how much they've taken responsibility for the hand that was dealt them and moved on.
