I don't know if you watched Noah's documentary last nightor not, but he even says that he too was an indoctrinated "sold out" member at one time himself, & so were hundreds a hundreds of SGAs for sometimes well into their adult lives before making the break. So we are all aware as to how powerful that s___ was! Although we are SGAs who were raised in the cult & saw how detrimental it was to us, how can we not say that FGAs who were also robbed their lives, some joining when they were kids themselves, cannot have a chance at life. "Their debt to society" in my opinion would be better served being able to work, pay taxes, & lead normal lives so that their kids, the SGAs, can now have a resemblance of a normal life, & supportive grandparents for them & their kids.
Sure if they are still crazy cult members that's one thing, but I'm talking about FGAs who really see how screwed up the Family was.
In Noah's documentary it showed what in my opinion is one of the greatest travesties of all, & that is that the Family has "orphaned" a generation that have had to struggle on their own in society providing their own support group amoungst their peers, & in many cases older siblings having to double as mom & dad in many cases for their younger brothers & sisters.
With not allowing FGAs that indeed want to right the wrongs of their time in the cult by leading a decent life for the sake of their kids & grandkids, your harsh stance is only componding a problem that your fellow victims, the SGAs, are going to have to continue to suffer for over & over again. Doesn't sound that fair to me!!
