The thing is, those who have left and want their names cleared want their names cleared - not more web pages where either their old Family names or their legal names are listed and their crimes are discussed and hashed over and guilt of innocence decided.
So I would like to ask is there a way for this process to move forward?

Any suggestion on how you would go about clearing your name without (in the process) creating more web pages with your name on? In the end these people who want to get their names cleared are at the mercy of those who run this site and movingon.org.
I think these sites are great - needed - absolutely essential and continually expose the cult we left. But at the same time when this process is also responsible for your parents who left years ago, now having their future possibilities severely reduced, it does give you mixed feelings.
Could the administrators of sites like these come up with some plan or policy that would possibly allow for removal of legal names from these sites that would not (in the plan) include new web pages where their names are listed (which just results in more site popping up when the name is Googled)?
What guidelines or parameters could be instituted to verify if someone is remorseful, sorry, suffered long enough, sick of their past mistakes and done enough to atone for their sins?
