Well, I am an exmember & I figure, that you GP made a bit too much of a blanket statement, but that could be due to the fact, that you haven't frequented this or any other exmembersite too much...may be???It goes without saying that we expressed our genuine remorse over not doing enough to protect the children from abuse...sexual abuse, by the way, didn't happen under my nose...in any vicinity in the homes I was in...first, for a long time I didn't have any children myself, second because I didn't have...thank God...these inclinations...third...that doesn't mean I am guiltless towards the kids they preyed on in homes "up somewhere"...as I didn't leave soon enough in protest, when things started to get published...I won't repeat all the reasoning here...however, I get the impression, that you don't know the cult too well???
For any of us exers I would also assume, that we really only knew our little part of the cult...some areas in the world
(in TF) were more horrific than others...so it could pay not to generalise beyond the reasonable.
But thanks for the input anyway.
Also being completely out since 15 years (not tithing anymore)...I have a thorough understanding, what the "normal" public thinks about childabuse...however have you noticed how many children suffer by the "not normal" public (people)...and with those people I don't mean TF.
But I guess you realise that yourself.
