The page that changes after a split second, is probably the redirect page. The tab link sometimes goes to http://www.exfamily.org/pubs/index.htm and your browser is asked to go to http://www.exfamily.org/pubs/index.html instead. I use redirects to work with bookmarking as well as search engine crawlers.
It's strange that it's not opening for you. Let me look over the page carefully, see if I put something in there by accident that might be causing the prolem. Otherwise, I'll write the redirect into the server, so that you get to the correct page. Intead of sending your browser the instruction to go to a new page, the server does it all for you on its own end. Hopefully taht'll work if nothing else. Will post a note here when I'm ready.
