I know what you mean. I am sure it must be really sad that he left and still a thing to celebrate. All three of mine have been gone for some time now, but I can relate to being grateful they did not have to grow up in TF and experience camps and such.
You are at a turning point life experience right now, with that separation. Do you have other children at home?
