Hi A, hope you are doing well.
It is a common occurance in the western police systems for police to "overcharge" suspects in order to hang on to them or pressure them into "cooperation". All countries in the west do it including the USA. Under new terrorist legislation it is possible for the police to hold people for longer periods of time with less reason. As much as I like my personal freedom I can understand why this stuff is happening due to the world political situation. I don't think there are any answers to this problem. I am currently working my way through the 911 report and some of the info is pretty scary, particularly if you travel alot.
Sincerely
Rocky
