The problem is one about neutrality.
To say that AM is *not* TFI is true.
To say that AM *is* a spin off coporation initiated by TFI is also true.
What finally goes into print has something to do with the tone the editor wants to impart, intentionally or unintentionally.
I think what Moonshiner is saying, and it's also my opinion, is that to say that AM is *not* TFI gives the impression that both entities are totally unrelated.
