We are saying pretty much the same thing. There are times when a corporate shield can be pierced. It has to do with closely held corporations where it can be legally proven that instead of a true board of directors and such, a specific person, or perhaps husband and wife are in fact THE corporation.
This type of approach is used by attorneys to get at personal assets when a corporation runs up a bunch of bills then files for bankrupcy, and the officers go back to their mansions to start another corporation.
I don't know how this works in this situation. They are probably doing it right, especially if they have any non-members on the board.
At any rate, I do agree that Activated uses their corporation to distance themselves from The Family, but that just means that they are using corporate law for the purpose it was created.
