Lexapro made me MORE depressed when I started taking it. Like I said it often takes several tries to get the right medication. But if you can do without it you are lucky not to mention saving a lot of money. I ended up on Effexor (you should hear the Scientology horrow stories about that one) and I've had no side effects and finally feel well.
