Lexapro is what the doc gave me and I didn't like it. And he gave it to me without monitoring it and it caused me a lot of problems. I know what Daniel is trying to say. I don't think he ever tried to draw in some conspiracy theory dating back to hippie days, as Jules tried to imply. I think he is just genuinely concerned that our health culture is too liberal in doling out meds and not monitoring them. I think he's right. Especially in light of the trauma so many of our children have suffered.
This is something I have tried for so many years to bring awareness to, so that the health community can have some understanding of this type of trauma and deal with it accordingly. I see it as a very neglected field.
I wish that there was more quality therapy available to everyone coming out of TF. I am having a very difficult time with one of my darling children right now and I wish to God I could pay for a good therapist.
