and what it seems you fail to understand is that medication is often used as a balancing act between certain imbalances going on in the body. Have you been around women whose hormones are out of wack due to their menstrual cycle or before and after a baby? This is very real and often medication can correct this. I think you are looking at this the wrong way entirely.
Be careful you don't go on that slippery slope a la Tom Cruise and Brooke Shields. Remember what he told her? He basically said she was weak or something for taking medication due to her pregnancy. That was very wrong and this is the type of religious mind-set that is very hurtful to people who really do need to be under a doctor's care and correcting that imbalance.
Then there's the case of Andrea Yates. Remember she murdered her children. I fault her husband and the false prophet that was leading them astray. First the false prophet told them crazy things about the bible and God that reminded me of Berg's dogmas. These people are pathological and love seeing others in pain and dependent on them. They cleverly take innocent people and use the bible to scare them into believing what they want them to believe. Andrea Yates was already a fragile soul and was on medication. She started doing better and seemed to be on the up and up. She had a history of having serious emotional problems after birth. This was a giant red flag. But the husband in his religious ferver decided that since she was doing better and was seemingly happy, they should have more children. She also was not using her meds. So guess what happened after the baby was born? Well, you read the papers. There is a whole website devoted to this case and the false prophet who was responsible for planting those devious doctrines in her brain. You should read it - enlightening and devastating at the same time.
