Perry correctly picked up on my feeling that time spent recreating something, even if it is not done the exactly same way, may potentially be better spent improving the existing thing. And by being involved with xfamily, my bias towards seeing it improved as much as possible is heightened.
From what I've seen previously, by following the wiki and in some places encyclopedic format FPAC shares more similarities with xfamily.org than other sites do.
Nevertheless, I don't think there can ever be too many sources for factual information about the Family, so while I don't actually know very much about your family's new website, I think it becoming publicly available soon can only be a good thing and look forward to this.
Since you mention in another post that you wish "exer sites were duplicated in every nation on the globe, in every language", I'll note that I share this desire, and towards this effort xfamily is hoping to add subdomains for every language for which we are able to find people who are able to translate articles or otherwise contribute information towards. A Spanish site was recently launched at http://es.xfamily.org , and while it's still in its infancy we're very interested in finding Spanish speakers interested in expanding it.
