I agree entirely with you when you say, I do believe in supporting people who are able to break away and start a new life, but if a person was high profile then, it is only to be expected that now they will have a place in the history of "COG, TF, TFI etc.
Especially since both Jane Miller & Stephen were known to ardently promote by word & example Family policies & practices. If they were still hanging on to sharing & other Family practices after leaving, everyone understands that it takes time to sort things out -- like them swapping in a camper behind some charismatic church. Most exmembers would cut them slack. But if they continue even now to support Family policies & practices then they are as you said, a ministry on a collision course.
You said, They can't escape their past anymore with the Internet and access to the sites .... it is a matter of time before people of the congregations where she hangs out get wind of the roots of "the family" past
