Your post must have been what I remembered the name Garbage Eaters from because I remember now when you posted that. That was a year and a half ago, though, so when I recently had a memory of dumpster diving in TF the name Garbage Eaters came to me. I looked it up on the internet because I didn't remember where I'd heard it before. It wasn't something we called ourselves. In the profile I posted there are so many similarities with the early COG I remember that I thought there might have been connections of one sort or another.
