I remember when I first met your wife. It was at the villa of Petrus Bear's mother. She was in the kitchen and showing me how to make Muesli, Swiss style. It had to have been when she was first joining. This was in 72. I was thinking about how most of the guys that were hippies had to cut their hair to short "system" haircuts to "burn bridges". A few were allowed their locks. Usually some musicians and a few leaders.
But you are right, many who were recruited back then especially that were not American were not "hippie".
