My wife who joined early, in '72, was never a hippy, never smoked pot. She was quite the opposite, she only met the Fam because a member of a small Jesus People commune in Zurich met Faithy in Amsterdam. the whole commune became the new recruits. At the time my wife was kind of a churchy girl who had made friends with the commune members, but she hadn't joined them. One day when she came to visit, there was Apollos and Lois and Dutch Israela, etc.
