Imagine, none of the children from 2 yrs to 15 were his and they all resented him taking the place of their father. Some of the little ones he tried to adopt but they refused, preferring to stick with their brothers and sisters. There was some down and dirty fighting at times. Sometimes he would leave, saying he couldn't take it anymore but he always returned. At one point, about 10 or 12 years ago we were all set to have therapy for our whole family. It was going to be on a sliding scale and we would have to come in once a week at $20 a week. We couldn't even afford that and it passed us by. I wanted it so bad I could taste it. This is why I try so hard to bring awareness (not that I've accomplished much) to the outside world of what goes on in cults so that more therapy can be made available. It possibly could have saved us an awful lot of pain and I may have a few more marbles than I do now!!!!
