I strongly disagree. Why use such exaggerated hyperbole, Jo?
If you didn't commit any crimes and have nothing to confess, fine, I believe you. I've read your story and I'm glad you got out early and got your kids out. Good for you. I believe you were a victim too. On top of it, your own kids love you and have forgiven you. That counts bigtime and that's what matters. But talk of the Cultural revolution and Khmer Rouge Cambodia doesn't help anyone.
