Yes, that is true. I saw that too when we worked on a case where a prison warden was molesting the boys from the explorer program. He would take them to "church" with him and then molest them afterwards. He was an upstanding member of the community. He rocked the community when he got arrested and his family stood by him throughout the trial, even writing letters to the judge. He later confessed when he was up for parol, hoping to get out early. I guess being a great con artist comes natural to perverts and molesters.
