Thats what we all have in common - we left, some sooner some later but most people i know that left tried to alert authorities. My sister and I spent weeks talking to a lawyer who helped with the kidnapping of her son and told him everything and more. It was fresh in our minds then too so we really spilled our guts. We told the Federal Police as well. They were just not interested. Even when the authorities finally caught up with her criminal husband he was given such a lenient sentence ( not being able to leave the country for a year and a fine or something lame like that). No jail time no nothing. This was kidnapping forged passports you name it. We tried for years to get people to listen to us. In the end we got on with our lives. Until we found this website. So all that to say we've done all we could to bring attention to the Family ever since we left in 1982. Our kids know how lucky they are believe me. Especially when they read movingon.
