Thanks for posting this. I had never heard about this before. This is highly offensive, disgusting stuff. And as you point out, TF is using the same tactics today. They either blame the victim or they blame individuals, but never their system. Their classic defense is "mistakes were made", pointing to individuals rather than any systemic problems associated with the aggressive indoctrination of religious dogma.
Some of the words used by TF in their recent statements about Ricky are almost identical to the words they use in the following passage to blame Watchman:
"153. These are decisions of his own choosing. This is the fruit of leaning to his own understanding. Therefore he has chosen to be cut off before his time."
Probably what is most disgusting of all, though, is that they rushed these false prophecies or spirit-talks or whatever they call them, to Watchman's son and wife. These are truly depraved people.
