I'd like to suggest that when you have the time, that you ADD to what you've written here and make it into a full article that can be permanently archived on this site. You can talk to Joseph about that. What you have shared is a very tender side of Ricky that we all need to see and be reminded of in the coming days and months, since the circumstances surrounding his death are so shocking and tragic.
In fact, since the Family has already started to blame exmembers who were in touch with Ricky for "egging him on", (like your putting him in contact with his aunt Deborah) you will want to show the full story, and the anger he already had when he first met you. Wishing you well.
