"We SGs" don't always get a chance to post everything we think about another post on moving on. If it makes you feel better, I have had lengthy outraged conversations about those non-TF camps with exers and non-exers. I save articles about them and watch news magazine shows about them when I can. Many of us find it very TF-like. Now, however, I get no demerits for failing to write a reaction ;-)
The person who relativized your post is someone whose posts still show acceptence of other things we grew up with as facts of life.
Some of us even got into it with someone who'd been in a camp and was defending them (I'm sure I don't need to mention Stockholm Syndrome to this audience):
