I found out the other night watching a TV show on America's contribution to the English language that the word 'bulldoze' comes from the word 'bull dose' meaning the KKK catching a black man and giving him a bull-sized dose of a midnight whipping, leaving him nearly dead.
Last time I accuse anyone of bulldozing their way into a situation.
