I often didn't get dates and the guys with the looks or the power would get the chicks, or some guy who just insisted and insisted and pushed until someone "supplied his needs". I just didn't have it in me to insist, so when I got a "no" I took it as a no.
I know according to Berg men only want sex, but it wasn't so with me. If a girl shared with me and it was clear she was only there out of duty to fulfill the law of love and not appear selfish, it was empty. It's a bizarre situation to have men and women forced into such unnatural situations, the so-called liberated law of love, which in reality was a mandated, legalistic law.
I'm a lot happier now married with someone I love and who loves me, someone who's there when I go to sleep and there when I wake up.
