I met a couple about 2-3 years ago and they seemed to be the most perfect couple, with deep love and concern for each other and their children. about 5 months ago it was discovered that they both abused each other in many strange ways trying to control what was happening. The husband hardly gave any money to the woman (he controls the purse) even though they have lots of money. She would get him drunk and then put him so that she could go out and visit with neighbors and all kinds of things. Pretty weird.
I wonder if those who wrote books defending, supporting, or providing favorable views of the Family understood or considered the role that power hunger plays in the Family?
