I'm not so surprised they'd promote a book that points (probably half-heartedly) to Berg's letters as being a cause of child abuse since that fact already came out in the British court case and Ward's judgment. But why would they promote a book that ties FCF to the Family? Isn't that just shooting themselves in the foot and laying FCF open to lawsuits agaisnt the Family?
