The beginning of the end of having any trust for Family leadership was when we saw the letter sent to this website. It was the one where they flat out denied that the Family ever engaged in Prostitution, Child Abuse, etc.
Jane felt like they were calling her a liar. She called people that we knew at the time, and all she got was spin.
If the organization was serious about dealing with these issues, they would have to start by admitting that it happened. Next they have to turn in the guilty. That's what is happening right now with the Catholics. Sure, they had to be dragged screaming into that, but they are doing it, and abusive Priests are being sent to jail where they belong.
