I totally agree with you. That's why it's so painful to me everytime my daughter has another baby.
And it's true, this old guard were often responsible for some of the worst abuses, that's why they are still there. That's a crime, they should be held accountable for what they did, somehow. Worse is how they try and hide their past or blame the abuses on over zealous hippies - for heaven's sakes.
