ag, thaks for your insight regards the book on rit. abuse. not sure how the definitions of these things affect the question of healing. imo there are so many different scenarios in sg survivors that each path to healing may be a little different, tho i am sure there is a lot of overlap. healing is the issue that most interests me. have you heard of or read any of dr. dan allender ("wounded heart" and "the healing path"). he writes from a clinical and christian perspective on sexual abuse that occurred in religious context. not sure how a nonchristian therapist would veiw it, but interesting due to the religious tie in.
