It started out with Alan asking me if I knew Anneke and Ron, which as far as I know was an innocent question.

I didn't answer Alan's post saying that I knew Anneke and Ron until 19:35, twelve hours after the post by "Curious". That post only said that I knew them.
It seems to me that if you have a problem with all this being dragged out, you should take it up with "Curious".
If you didn't want public discussion on this matter, you should have handled it accordingly. When the "Curious" post stayed up, the only thing we could assume is that the matter was open for public comment.
I never claimed to be a proxy for Anneke. In fact, I said more than once that I was not her "agent". I had no idea Anneke was going to apologize. I was assuming that she would not when I made my witch burning comment.
I think that comment may have painted the Coordinators into a corner. If you trash Anneke now, then I was right. So, what else can you do? Trash me and Jane, perhaps?
By the way, Jane posted a comment similar to the paragraph above, directly under her answer to you. I saw her post it, and I saw it on my own PC. Now it's gone. Is that a glitch? Or are we engaging in a bit of editing tonight?
