That's so true, Jo. On the one hand, he idolized communism and condemned it in the same breath. There was no figuring him out. I came out of that VERY confused. It's that upside down world that Berg created, both emotionally and politically. It's like he took his trailer trash Pentecostal, holly roller upbringing and merged it with his Karl Marx politics. Then he added his own brand of lust amongst it all. Definitely a hodge podge of confusion. Maybe that confsuion prophecy he touted was really about him as the author of confusion, certainly not as David.
