The change directory command (CD windows\cookies) assumes you are using MS Windows 95 or 98. If you're using Windows NT, XP, etc, the cookies directory will be found in a different location in your windows directory, so you will need to modify the path so it can find and deleate the cookies.
Of course, you could also use one of several cookie-destroying utilities that can be found at epic.org, but the DOS code I gave does an adequate job. Its only weakness is that it doesn't destroy the cookies until you boot the computer, while the cookie muncher programs do it as soon as you exit a web page.
