You're doing pretty good with Norton, Ad Aware, and Zone Alarm. Just make sure to do regular updates to your Norton virus definitions so it catches the latest little nasties.
If you want to send angry e-mails to the fam leadership, however, you might want to add additional privacy tools to your computer. You could use anonymous e-mail tools to conceal your IP address so they couldn't trace it back to you. If you're concerned about them learning your identity when you visit their web pages, you can use anonymous proxy servers such as www.guardster.com What such anonymous proxies do is act as a go-between giving the web sites you visit their own IP instead of yours.
I wouldn't worry about cookies too much. Yes, they can be used to track your activity, but not much else. You can add a simple DOS command in your autoexec.bat that will delete all cookies every time you boot your computer. Here are the lines of code to add to your autoexec.bat to do that:
CD\
CD windows\cookies
deltree/y *.*
Just open your autoexec.bat with Notepad and copy and paste the above DOS commands at the bottom of the file and save the change.
