A good homestudy will reveal a lot about the parenting skills and practices of a couple, whether they are in TF or not.
Like any other couple, these potential adopters will be asked about how they plan to educate their child, what they will do about medical care, and what their attitudes are toward the sexual socialization of their child. As a responsible social worker, I would want to scruitinize this couple a little more closely on certain issues if I was aware of their association with TF. However, if they are genuinely good prospective parents, that will become evident through the homestudy process.
Adopted children, btw, are at significantly higher risk for abuse than biological children.
