I definitely agree with that analysis of shutting down. I know I was at that point during my last six months to a year in the Family. I knew I was leaving and felt everybody could read my mind. I couldn't think about anything else but coming home to my real family and getting my kids out of danger. I had to do escort work for a solid month in Hong Kong night and day to raise fares for my last destination before home and I was in survival mode. I did not feel protected by God any more and I was shit scared every time I knocked on a hotel room door. I don't think anyone can imagine what this is like unless they have been there. Mind you I didn't get a cent of this money and my mother still had to pay for my fare home!
