I think you can look at the Brazil situation in two ways:
The glass is half-full.
The glass is half-empty.
Sure, some will come back, but others will manage to make a complete break. If they get the courage to leave, there's hope that they remain free. That's where the ex-fam community can help. We can and should offer them moral, spritual, and physical support so they can get on their own two feet.
